HISTORY:
Beamish Rocking Horses originally started off as a hobby for Helen Darlow, who progressed very quickly to completing traditional rocking horses made to order for a wide variety of customers. Beamish Rocking Horses is a family run business, and all involved take great pride in making the highest quality of hand carved Rocking Horses.
CONSTRUCTION:
All horses are made using fully treated real horse hair for the mane and tail, which come in a range of colours. Horses come in 3 sizes - small, medium and large. Our small horses come with either bow rockers or safety stand. Medium and large horses have safety stands as standard.
Only the highest quality air dried seasoned wood is used which is locally sourced. The Rocking Horses can be constructed using a variety of woods:
